28 Mar BETTING ON MYSELF
I, Beth Meadlock, am a lover of all things FALL.
I have just returned from a vacation in Maine and it did not disappoint. Early November is the ideal time to visit New England if you want to dodge the tourists. Maine is a beautiful state to visit no matter what the season may be, but fall in Maine is truly stunning. There is something about the New England air that clears my mind. I have found it to be a very grounding place for me.
Prior to taking a vacation I hung my shingle out and launched a real estate company. And to be honest, it didn’t feel like a giant, scary leap of faith. In fact, there was no doubt in my mind that I was ready for it. I have always wanted to carve my own path. Better to take a chance than to spend your life wondering ‘what if.’ I’ve been broke before. It’s not the end of the world.
The skills I learned from 25 years in the sports marketing industry couldn’t be more aligned with the real estate industry and the business I plan to build. Building relationships, creating and implementing marketing initiatives, and negotiation skills are pillars in this industry and in growing a new business. I saw what my skills and work ethic achieved for the leaders I worked under. It was clear that the same energy and passion could just as easily allow me to reach my own professional aspirations. Now it is time for me to do something with all that.
How do I know I can bet on myself? Not only am I immensely inspired by the entrepreneurs in my life, but I have other things going for me.
- I possess a relentless work ethic that I know won’t fail me.
- I’ve built a network of people who understand my strengths.
- I have a deep passion for the work I do.
- I get my thrills from helping others. Big or small, this is my secret to happiness.
Thanks to the relationships I’ve built and enjoyed over the years, a few intriguing opportunities came my way as soon as I began sharing my real estate business ambitions. Knowing friends and colleagues will enthusiastically recommend my services to people in their circles made my decision to branch out on my own that much easier.
Beth Meadlock Real Estate, LLC is officially open! It’s taken a lot of hard work, networking, and passion for me to find my way here. But I know I couldn’t have made it if it weren’t for my front-row seats to the inspiring leaders who were willing to bet on me first. So now I will embark on a journey to hopefully help many people with one of the biggest financial decisions of their lifetime, buying or selling a home.
I appreciate your consideration when/if you/family/friends have real estate needs.
